Another Reason Why Dogs are so Special

Since my mom's passing of cancer in 2004 after a long battle(18 years) I have found survior stories very heartwarming.  This story brought tears to my eyes especially since I LOVE Dog's.

My Favorite Cousins New Song

This is my cousin Kylie's new song..she sounds so grown up because I still see her as a little girl but she is now 18 going on 19 and following her dreams and I admire both her and her mom aka my favorite aunt for letting her do what she loves.  Im probably closest to the 2 of them than any other family members I have left and I love them for that...as a matter of fact I want to move in with them(they have a house just North of LA with a guest house and I want a chnge in my life).   

Dog Fighting

Whover enjoys or promotes dog fighting has got to be sick in the head...Over the Easter Weekend my 2 dogs got into it and one ended up having to go to the Vet all over a stupid rawhide....so no more chew toys for them.....That was really tough to go through especially since I could barely break the fight up and my bedroom looks like a murder scene from all the blood...Im just torn because I bought him thinking my motherdog would want a friend and this has never really happened before.  I feel even more strong anger towards Michael Vick doing what he did after he had made it in the world of the NFL..I hope he has gotten some counseling because I cant see how people can enjoy that sick situation.  Animals even humans fighting is not cool like UFC(I cant even watch that).  So my plans of going to church and doing all this yard work were put on hold due to the fact I wanted to be right by my dogs side while he heals and pretty much laid around with him to make sure he wasnt licking the stitches in his arm(all 9 of them).  I tried putting the cone aroud him aka medical collar but he wasnt having it so I told him "ok you dont have to wear it as long as I dont see you lick it," and I havent seen him lick it but I am losing sleep at night because he sleeps with me in bed and every time I hear him lick something I get somewhat paranoid and wake up every other hour.  OH WELL..I would do anything for my dogs since they are pretty much all I have in this dreadful city of Las Vegas...
